Yes, I know today (6/19/2022) is both Father's Day and Juneteenth, but I wanted to know when Arbor Day was. You know, add it to my calendar. Welp, as it turns out, that's not such a simple question. Here's the response I got when I asked the good people at ArborDay.org: “I think on a website devoted to any particular holiday, first and foremost it should show prominently near the top the date of that current year's holiday”:

National Arbor Day is always celebrated on the last Friday in April, but many states observe Arbor Day on different dates throughout the year based on the best tree-planting times in their area.

In Tennessee, Arbor Day is officially celebrated on the first Friday in March.
