He mentioned "metabunk.com", whom I had some "discussions" with. He's up in Shingle Springs. I kept showing trails and he kept saying they were just contrails. I kept studying them and photoing them (I have thousands from a few years of photoing them on bike rides) and learned that trails come to be if the plane is above 22,000 feet because the exhaust (with moisture) freezes. The more moisture in the air, the longer the trail lasts (so, trails don't last too long in the dry summer air and are frequently long in the moist winter air). I don't think a trail can be accurately labeled unless somebody samples what is exhausted, what lands on the ground is tested, or you are behind a jet and see special ports spraying stuff.
