Mom was bedridden for 4-5 weeks, son ~4 weeks, me ~3 weeks I could have used 4 weeks but somebody had to keep things going.
Mom lost her sense of smell years ago, my son and I didn’t notice any particular loss of smell. Loss of sense of smell is thought to be due to the body’s limited zinc supply being consumed in fighting viral replication. We had plenty of zinc onboard.
